The Story
The Patient Garden stands as a foundational milestone in my studio practice, serving as one of the very first mixed media garden paintings that launched my entire newest body of work. Built quickly and with an effortless fluidity, the piece emerged from dense layers of fluid paint and rich collage elements. The composition was deeply inspired by the breathtaking landscape photography of Claire Takacs, capturing the serene, slow rhythms of a thriving botanical sanctuary.
