The Story
This original mixed media painting is a sixteen year collaboration with my younger self. Back in 2010, it began as a still life study of dried flowers, originally painted just floating in space. Recently, I brought this exact canvas back to the easel, adding fresh layers of paint and mixed media collage. I built a physical space for these flowers to live, grounding them on a table in front of a bright window. The delicate dragonfly resting on the table adds a quiet touch of life to the scene. This painting represents the exact vibrant bouquet I wish was sitting on my table right now if I could just will it into existence.

As a working artist, managing an open online shop every single day takes me away from my core purpose. To ensure I have the dedicated time needed to focus on my original paintings and my community work through Creative Pathways, my shop is only open for short, intentional windows throughout the year.
This artwork is a strictly limited edition. The collection is capped at:
20 prints at 8x10” (Unframed)
10 prints at 16x20” (Unframed)
10 prints at 16×20” (Hand Embellished and Framed)
These prints will be available during this current open window. Whatever remains will simply be held in the vault until the next time I open the shop doors. However, once these specific edition numbers are fully claimed across my shop openings, this artwork will be officially archived and never reproduced in these formats again.
The Hand Embellished and Framed Edition
For a truly unique piece, you can choose the 16x20” hand embellished edition. I will personally bring the reproduction back into the studio to add subtle layers of acrylic texture and transparent color, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike. To protect the original texture and elevate this exclusive tier, these specific prints are elegantly matted and come professionally framed, arriving ready to hang on your wall. The final outer size of this framed edition is 20x24”. Because of the physical studio time and custom framing this requires, I am strictly limiting this option to an edition of 10.
Shipping and Processing
Please allow up to three weeks for processing standard prints, and up to four weeks for the framed editions. These are custom printed to order, and I want to personally ensure proper care and high quality attention to the creation and shipment of your art.

The Story
Sentiimentu di Kabu Verdi (The Feeling of Cape Verde) is a vibrant exploration of home, place, and shared memory, originally created as a collaborative fine art triptych by the residents of The Douglas House in Brockton. Rooted in a core belief that everyone is inherently creative, the project began with a simple question posed to the community: "What does home mean to you?"
The core breakthrough came from a resident artist named Janice Elizabeth Barber Francis, whose sketchbook drawings of a coastal landscape and three turtles became the primary anchor for the composition. The final piece transports the viewer to a beach on one island looking across the open sea toward another, featuring bold sea life, a radiant mother sun, and palm trees swaying in the breeze.
Built through a unique method of layering together drawing, paint, and hand cut collage from numerous contributors, this open edition print beautifully captures the joy, longing, and power of community storytelling, keeping our most beloved homeplaces alive within us no matter where we are in the world.
The original masterpiece received professional custom framing services generously donated by The Frame Center. Today, the original paintings are permanently installed inside the walls of The Douglas House in Brockton where its story first began.

The Story
Created during a six week residency at the Fresh Pond Apartment Community in Cambridge, Massachusetts, this vibrant acrylic and mixed media piece explores the diverse meanings of home. To welcome a global group of participants, project materials were translated into Amharic, Bengali, Gujarati, Haitian Creole, Hindi, Punjabi Gurmukhi, and Spanish. The resulting artwork depicts a bright, colorful interior filled with a well stocked pantry, fresh fruit, and festive decorations, offering a universally welcoming space for anyone to step into. The original 24×24” painting is permanently installed on site at Fresh Pond Apartments.

In this original mixed media painting I capture the distinct magic of the walk that leads you to the shore. This painting is inspired by the sandy beach path in New England where I regularly walk and spend time with my family.

Limited Edition Prints Available at various intervals throughout the year.
Limited edition prints of my original studio paintings will be available in two sizes: a smaller run of 20 and a larger run of 20. Of that larger run, 10 prints will be hand-embellished and framed, meaning I bring them back into my studio after they're printed and add real brushwork and acrylic texture by hand before framing, so each one is a little one-of-a-kind. I've been working with Goss Photo in Hanover to get professional archival photography and museum-quality paper and ink, so the final product really holds up to the texture and color of the originals. If you select an original or print that includes framing, it will likely be from Frame Center in Hanover, who has been a strong and early supporter of Creative Pathways through donated framing for programs in Brockton (The Douglas House) and Marshfield (Levitate Creative Kids Camp) and overall high quality craftsmanship.
Open edition prints of our Community Works are where this gets especially exciting for me. I've been leading on-site residencies where entire communities from residents to students to families all work together to create a piece of art that then gets permanently installed at that location or distributed throughout their community. Since the originals either temporary or belong where they were made, prints are the only way I can bring that work to you. I'm making these open editions, so I'll keep printing them for as long as people want to buy them.
Where the Money Actually Goes

Here's the part that means the most to me: beginning in July of 2026, 70% of sales from Community Works prints have begun to go back to the residency artists who created the original piece. Rather than a one-time payment, my plan is to distribute proceeds over time as sales come in.
This also extends to original artwork created by individual artists. At the Douglas House residency in Brockton, I have several prolific resident artists whose original work (think: paintings, jewelry, mixed-media pieces) I'm adding to the online store. I'm using the local standard consignment split: the artist gets 70% of each sale, and Creative Pathways keeps 30% to cover photography, printing, shipping, and all the coordination that goes into the sale.
For me, signing over money from an art sale to any artist is a gift and one that encourages the artist to press on. Seeing collaborative and individual artwork sell and paying out these artists has been one of the most meaningful parts of this whole project for me.
