Art Projects
Get Involved
Creative Pathways partners with community centers, libraries, schools, and arts organizations to create programming that’s engaging, flexible, and meaningful.
Programs are tailored to each site’s needs. Most begin at around $300 per session.
Free to Host
The Sketchbook Project is a traveling, collaborative art experience that invites people from all walks of life to participate in creative connection. Sketchbooks spend time in a variety of pre-existing communities — sparking reflection, imagination, and artistic exchange wherever they go.
Who Can Host a Sketchbook?
Any pre-existing group can request to host a sketchbook for a few months at a time. This includes:
Classrooms – Kids and teens use the books to explore, play, and express.
Community Groups – Libraries, senior centers, and neighborhood organizations enjoy reflective and communal creativity.
Professional Artists – Bring their perspective and energy to the evolving pages.
Corporate and Public Events – Provide interactive and meaningful engagement for attendees.
Community Events & Fairs
You can also request a sketchbook to be present at a community event or fair—free of charge, as long as someone is assigned to be with it to help guide participation. This is a great way to invite people into creative expression in a low-pressure, fun environment.
Residencies
Collaborative Art-Making with Purpose
Creative Pathways offers Residencies—longer-term collaborations with organizations and communities to co-create meaningful art that reflects shared values and goals.
Each residency is a tailored journey, where we work together to design and produce artwork that serves a specific purpose:
Beautification: Transforming spaces with art that enhances and enlivens the environment.
Fundraising: Creating pieces intended for auction to support causes and initiatives.
Community Engagement: Developing projects that foster connection and participation among community members.
Residencies are customized to fit the unique needs and aspirations of each client, ensuring that the resulting artwork is both impactful and resonant.

Mural Programs
When it comes to murals, Creative Pathways serves as a project manager, fostering community collaboration at every stage:
Engaging Community Members to generate ideas for the mural’s design.
Hiring Professional Artists to bring these ideas to life.
Coordinating Installations that create a lasting, impactful experience for the entire community.
These projects don’t just beautify—they strengthen the connection between the space and those who interact with it.
Support is available at tiered levels, depending on your needs:
Grant Writing Only: Secure funding for your project with grant-writing services.
Project Management: Oversee the entire process to ensure smooth execution and high-quality results.
Full-Service Support: Includes grant writing, project management, and community engagement to create a collaborative, meaningful mural experience.

Greeting Card Workshops
Building Beauty Through Collaboration
Another cornerstone of Creative Pathways is the hands-on creation of greeting cards using collage materials cut from sketchbooks. Workshops are available for hire, offering participants a unique opportunity to:
Work collaboratively on collaged cards—where many hands truly make light work.
Create personalized cards (participants can usually make two per session).
Experience team-based creation, often reworking pieces started by others into something new and beautiful.
The Gift of Giving
Many groups take their creations home to gift or donate to meaningful causes. For example, a teen group once donated their greeting cards—including “thank you” and “get well soon” themes—to a hospital floor dedicated to veterans. This process embodies the idea that art carries the power to build community and lift others.
Programs like these often qualify for grant funding, which I actively pursue to support after-school groups, teen projects, councils on aging, etc.
Beautifying Local Spaces
For businesses looking to communicate who they are to their community, I offer custom window and sign painting. While not as collaborative as other projects, this work builds meaningful relationships with local organizations and helps showcase their unique identity. Pricing includes a design consultation, where I’ll recommend the best way to visually communicate your message and connect with your community
